Lyncs is the project of Los Angeles-based songwriter and producer Jacqueline Hynes, making music that lives somewhere between 2am and the drive home, with nothing quite resolved.
Raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Lyncs came up classically trained on violin and upright bass, before finding her way to production, developing a sound built on layered textures, midnight choruses, and lyrics that sit uncomfortably close to the truth. Drawing from the influences of Lorde, The 1975, and Imogen Heap, her songs map the blurry terrain of relationships, nostalgia, and self-discovery, without pretending any of it is simple.
Her 2019 debut EP Every Time I Find The Meaning Of Life, It Changes earned coverage from American Songwriter and Billboard, establishing Lyncs as a new voice in music.
A string of singles followed: "Just Being Honest," "Quarter After", and "Ashes", recorded alongside producers Keith Varon (The Aces, JXDN) and Rob Ernst (Sasha Sloan, Lauv). She has since collaborated with Gnash and Jai Wolf, and taken the stage across the US and Canada supporting The Ivy, Annika Wells, and Rachel Bochner.
Now, Lyncs returns with Strangers (EP) her most earnest work yet, out June 12th, 2026.
